The Bad System Config Info blue screen error could be caused by different reasons. This guide will be covering 3 different methods for your to try according to the different causes. You may not have to try them all; just start from the top and work your way down, till you solve your problem.
Method 1: Update all your available drivers
Many blue screen errors are blamed on outdated, corrupted or missing device drivers. BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO is no exception. You probably can solve this problem through updating all your available drivers on your Windows.
To update your drivers, you should verify that all your devices have the right drivers, and update those that don’t. You can do it manually: Go to the manufacturer’s website for your devices, and search for the most recent correct driver. Be sure to choose only drivers that are compatible with your variant of Windows versions. In this way, you will need to check the update for your devices one by one.
If you’re not comfortable playing around with drivers manually, you can do it automatically with Driver Easy.
Driver Easy will automatically recognize your system and find the correct drivers for it. You can update your drivers automatically with either the FREE or the Pro version of Driver Easy. But with the Pro version it takes just 2 clicks (and you get full support and a 30-day money back guarantee):
1) Download and install Driver Easy.
2) Run Driver Easy and click the Scan Now button. Driver Easy will then scan your computer and detect any problem drivers.
3) Click the Update button next to a specific driver to automatically download and install the correct version of this driver (you can do this with the FREE version).
Or click Update All to automatically download and install the correct version of all the drivers that are missing or out of date on your system (this requires the Pro version – you’ll be prompted to upgrade when you click Update All).
4) Reboot your Windows 10 to see if it works.
